Survey on a Barn Shallow
If you would like to take the time to complete this survey, it would be deeply appreciated on behalf of the Lands & Resources Team! This is an opportunity for our community to be involved on an environmental standpoint (it takes 5-10 minutes depending if you have any comments).
Below is a quick summary of the Barn Swallow Recovery Strategy.
The Barn Swallow is currently listed as Threatened under the Species as Risk Act (SARA), a recovery strategy must be developed for each species listed as Extirpated, Endangered, and Threatened to reduce known threats and to help species at risk recover. Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) Canadian Wildlife Service is currently coordinating the development of a national Recovery Strategy for the Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) in Canada. ECCC’s Canadian Wildlife Service are seeking GFN’s input on the Recovery Strategy. Your input can help to improve this recovery document.
